Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: August 13, 2026
At Sovereign Outlet, we aim to provide customers with a clear and transparent process for cancelling orders.
This Cancellation Policy explains how order cancellations are handled before and after dispatch and should be read together with our Return & Exchange Policy and Refund Policy.
This policy is operated by Outlet Digital LLC and is intended to complement the statutory consumer rights applicable to customers in the United Kingdom.
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights provided by applicable consumer law.
1. Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible at:
support@sovereignoutlet.com
Please include your order number and clearly state that you wish to cancel the order.
We will make reasonable efforts to stop the order before it is packed or handed over to the carrier.
However, because orders may be processed quickly, we cannot guarantee that a cancellation request will be completed before dispatch.
If we successfully cancel the order before dispatch, any applicable refund will be issued to the original payment method.
2. Orders Already Being Processed
Once an order has entered the fulfilment or packing process, it may no longer be technically possible to stop it before dispatch.
Customers may still contact:
support@sovereignoutlet.com
and we will check whether the order can still be cancelled.
If cancellation is no longer operationally possible, the order may continue to shipment.
This does not remove any applicable statutory cancellation or return rights.
3. Cancelling an Order After Dispatch
Once an order has been dispatched and handed over to the carrier, we may no longer be able to intercept or stop the shipment.
However, dispatch does not remove any statutory cancellation rights available to customers under applicable UK consumer law.
If your order has already been dispatched and you wish to cancel it, please contact:
support@sovereignoutlet.com
Our customer support team will provide the appropriate instructions.
If the parcel cannot be intercepted, you may need to receive the order and return it using the return instructions provided by our support team.
4. UK Online Purchase Cancellation Rights
For eligible online purchases, customers may have a statutory right to cancel their purchase without providing a reason.
For most eligible goods, customers may notify us of their decision to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods.
After notifying us of the cancellation, the goods should normally be returned within the applicable statutory return period.
To exercise your cancellation rights, contact:
support@sovereignoutlet.com
Please provide your order number and clearly state that you wish to cancel the purchase.
Our voluntary 30-day return policy is provided in addition to applicable statutory cancellation rights and does not replace or restrict those rights.
5. How to Request a Cancellation
To request a cancellation:
Step 1: Contact support@sovereignoutlet.com.
Step 2: Provide your order number.
Step 3: Clearly state that you wish to cancel your order.
Step 4: Our customer support team will check the current status of the order.
Step 5: If the order can still be stopped, we will confirm the cancellation.
If the order has already been dispatched, we will provide the appropriate return instructions where necessary.
Customers exercising an applicable statutory cancellation right are not required to provide a reason for cancelling.
6. Returning an Order After Cancellation
If the goods have already been delivered, or are delivered after you notify us of a cancellation, they may need to be returned.
Customers should contact our support team before sending any product back.
Our team will provide the appropriate return instructions and return address.
Please do not send returns to our registered corporate address unless specifically instructed to do so.
For standard change-of-mind cancellations, the customer is generally responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, where permitted by applicable law and where this responsibility has been disclosed in advance.
We strongly recommend using a tracked postal or courier service.
7. Condition of Returned Products
Where goods are returned following a cancellation, customers may inspect or try on the products only to the extent reasonably necessary to determine their nature, characteristics, appearance and fit.
Products should be returned in their original, resaleable condition.
Products should not be:
- Worn beyond normal fitting;
- Washed;
- Altered;
- Stained;
- Damaged by the customer;
- Contaminated with strong odors, fragrances or other substances.
Original tags, labels, accessories and packaging should be included where reasonably possible.
Where handling goes beyond what is reasonably necessary and reduces the value of the product, an appropriate deduction may be made from the refund where permitted by applicable law.
8. Refunds Following Cancellation
Where a cancellation qualifies for a refund, the applicable amount will be returned to the original payment method.
For goods that have already been delivered, we may wait until:
- The returned goods have been received; or
- The customer provides appropriate evidence that the goods have been sent back,
where permitted by applicable law.
Refunds will be processed without undue delay and within the applicable statutory refund period.
Once a refund has been issued, your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional time to display the funds in your account.
9. Original Delivery Charges
Where UK consumer law requires reimbursement of the original delivery charge following a statutory cancellation, Sovereign Outlet will refund the amount corresponding to the standard delivery option.
If the customer selected an express, premium or other delivery option that cost more than standard delivery, any additional amount above the standard delivery cost is generally not refundable unless otherwise required by law.
Where standard shipping was originally free of charge, there is no original standard shipping charge to refund.
10. Return Shipping Costs
For standard change-of-mind cancellations and returns, the customer is generally responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, where permitted by law.
For goods that are:
- Faulty;
- Defective;
- Damaged upon arrival;
- Incorrect;
- Not as described; or
- Otherwise non-conforming,
Sovereign Outlet will cover reasonable return shipping costs where required by applicable law.
Customers should contact us before arranging a return for a faulty, damaged or incorrect product.
11. No Cancellation Fee or Restocking Fee
Sovereign Outlet does not charge a cancellation fee for exercising an applicable cancellation right.
We also do not charge a restocking fee for eligible cancellations or returns.
Any lawful deduction relating to excessive handling or diminished product value is separate from a restocking fee and will only be applied where permitted by applicable law.
12. Orders That Cannot Be Intercepted
Once a parcel has entered the carrier's delivery network, we cannot guarantee that it can be recalled, redirected or stopped.
If an order cannot be intercepted, the customer may still notify us of their intention to cancel where applicable.
Our customer support team will then provide instructions for returning the order after delivery.
The inability to intercept a shipment does not itself remove applicable statutory cancellation rights.
13. Refusing Delivery
We recommend contacting support@sovereignoutlet.com before refusing delivery of a parcel.
Refusing a parcel without contacting us may delay its return, identification and refund processing.
Where possible, customers should receive the parcel and follow the return instructions provided by our customer support team.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights available to the customer.
14. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
A cancellation because a product is faulty, damaged, defective, incorrect or not as described may involve additional statutory rights beyond standard change-of-mind cancellation rights.
Please contact:
support@sovereignoutlet.com
and provide your order number and information about the issue.
Where appropriate, photographs may be requested to help us understand and resolve the problem.
Nothing in this Cancellation Policy limits the customer's statutory rights relating to faulty, defective, damaged or misdescribed goods.
15. Exceptions to Cancellation Rights
Certain types of products may be exempt from standard statutory cancellation rights where permitted by applicable law.
Examples may include:
- Personalised or custom-made products;
- Perishable products;
- Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for genuine health or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken;
- Other products specifically exempt under applicable consumer legislation.
Any exception will only be applied where legally permitted.
These exceptions do not remove statutory rights relating to faulty, defective or misdescribed goods.
16. Sale, Promotional and Clearance Orders
Purchasing a product during a sale, promotion or clearance event does not automatically remove applicable statutory cancellation rights.
Eligible discounted products are also covered by our voluntary 30-day return policy, subject to the conditions stated in our Return & Exchange Policy.
Marking a product as promotional, discounted, clearance or “Final Sale” does not remove statutory consumer rights where those rights apply.
17. Relationship With Our Other Policies
This Cancellation Policy should be read together with our:
Return & Exchange Policy
Refund Policy
Shipping and Delivery Policy
These policies are intended to operate consistently.
Where applicable statutory consumer law provides rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded, those statutory rights will apply.
